Happy New Year !!
Gail & The Tricksters
are a high energy rockin',
swingin' jump blues and
rockabilly band based in
Nashville, TN. "I was really
impressed by the vocal work
done by Gail.  She has one
hell of a voice that seemed to
reverberate  around the room
and fill it up with that sweet
blues sound of old.  It was
really nice." - Enigma magazine
"I have a real connection with
musical styles of the '40s, '50s,
and '60s", says Gail, "but I
pick up on newer musical
undercurrents as well. All
that has shaped what I'm
doing now... you know,
taking blues, rockabilly, a
little surf and swing ...
I think I'm a pretty intense
live performer..............
I just fuse it all together
and hope it catches fire !"

Good times...

...talking about Dare To Be Different -
Enigma Magazine says:
full of edge and big dynamic songs…"
Roots Time Magazine says:
Gail Lloyd possesses a lovely voice and seems to come
into her own on this ‘different’ album… a delicious roots band
a beautiful disc that we very much wished would’ve lasted longer.”

Quote from Wanda Jackson prior to her 2004 show at  Nashville's Mercy Lounge:
"I worked with [Gail & The Tricksters] last year at the Americana festival.
We previewed my new album together. They are an excellent band,
and I'm really grateful to have them." - Nashville's All The Rage
